You are within close driving distance to Virginia City, West Yellowstone, Bozeman, Big Sky and the Henry's Fork river near Last Chance, Idaho.
The 8 acres surrounding the house will afford you plenty of room to store your gear and park your drift boat . . . and a short 5-minute walk from some of the best fishing that Montana has to offer. Ennis, Montana, is just a brief 11-mile drive away where you have many non-fishing options, including Madison Meadows, a challenging 9-hole golf course just outside of town. (See other photos above)
A half-hour drive will have you fishing the Big Hole, Beaverhead, Yellowstone and Gallatin rivers. Yellowstone National Park is one hour away, offering lots of fishing options, and in 45 minutes, you can be casting a fly to fish on the Ruby River. As for the Madison, it offers you so many options including the upper and lower river, (both wade and float fishing), the "Channels" section and Ennis Lake. If you're a still-water fisherman, the lake is a great option.
